Rather feel it’s their right to barge in and say here I’m !
Question them?
And you end up becoming a villain
Thereafter partition being the only claim
After all it’s the price you pay

A Mighty Lions Roar

Been away for over a year
My adorable work made me disappear
Though tempted to appear
Presenting the various flavours of life
Thoughts remained as mere thoughts
And never took the shape of words
Now I’m back like the mighty lions roar
To be there for a longer tenure

Defiled Age

What a defiled age!!
Bloodshed takes the center stage
Merely in a fit of rage
For preserving ones so called patronage
Humankind has lost its nobility
Instead of praying for a person’s longevity
They become the cause of snatching a life’s serenity!!

Never did I retreat
Even as I could see history repeat
Compelling me to divert my feet
Towards a proposal eager to greet
Drifting me off the dream I so longed to meet

Testing times try to drench me

In the torrential rain of

Of angst and agony

Yet my buoyant heart

Make my lips sing

And feet tap

To the vibrant droplets of hope!!

My eyes bask in the sunlight of confidence

And gleam with pride

For having won over

Attempting to bring tears!!

I rise like a phoenix

Wielding the turbulent rain

And taming my blurred vision

Towards that final goal

Just to be drenched

Oh!! Dear happiness

What a conundrum you are!!

People derive you

Only in the company

Of money, fame, power and fortune

And feel deprived of you

If they possess none

The presence or absence of

These transient things of life

Fail to bemuse me
