Testing times try to drench me
In the torrential rain of
Of angst and agony
Yet my buoyant heart
Make my lips sing
And feet tap
To the vibrant droplets of hope!!
My eyes bask in the sunlight of confidence
And gleam with pride
For having won over
The tempestuous raindrops
Attempting to bring tears!!
I rise like a phoenix
Wielding the turbulent rain
And taming my blurred vision
Towards that final goal
Just to be drenched
In the raindrops
Of my realised dream!!
